The HMC321ALP4ETR is a broadband non-reflective GaAs SP8T RF switch from Analog Devices (ADI), housed in a low-cost leadless surface mount package. Covering DC to 8 GHz, this switch offers high isolation of >30 dB and low insertion loss of 2.3 dB at 6 GHz. It includes an on-board binary 3:8 TTL decoder circuit that reduces the required logic control lines to three. The switch operates using a positive control voltage of 0/+5V and requires a fixed bias of +5V. It is suitable for 50Ω or 75Ω systems and is ideal for broadband, fiber optics, switched filter banks, and wireless applications below 8 GHz.
